Last day: voter registration or change of address

Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012, is the last day to register or change an address for anyone wishing to vote at the polls March 20, for the General Primary Election. Two forms of identification are required. Both IDs must have your current name, and at least one must have your current address.

A mail-in form may be found on the Board of Election website, www.voterockford.com. When mailing the form, it must be postmarked no later than Feb. 20, 2012. Remember to mail a copy of appropriate ID with your registration, or you must show ID the first time you vote.

The Rockford Board of Elections, 301 S. Sixth St., will be open 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday.
