Study shows screening for supine leg length inequality a reliable procedure
Examination for the supine leg-length inequality as a sign of neuromuscular dysfunction is a common screening procedure used in upper cervical chiropractic. The National Upper Cervical Research Foundation recently published a study showing the reliability of this procedure in the Journal of Manipulative and Physiologic Therapeutics (JPMT 2011;34:239-246). This study showed good reliability in determining the presence of a leg-length inequality.
