Vote before Election Day

The Board of Election Commissioners states that absentee voting for the March 20 primary election is now open. The schedule is as follows:
Vote by mail Feb. 9-March 15:
• Call 815-987-5750.
• E-mail: info@rockfordboe.org [1] or
• Go to the website (www.voterockford.com [2]), print an application for ballot, complete the application and mail it to 301 S. Sixth St., Rockford, IL 61104.
Vote in person Feb. 9-March 15:
Be prepared to show a government-issued photo ID at the Election Office, 301 S. Sixth St. Office hours for voting are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., weekdays, and 9 a.m. to noon, Saturdays, Feb. 18, 25 and March 3.
