Coronado Concert Association presents ‘Tschaikowski’ Feb. 24

The Rockford Coronado Concert Association has announced the performance of “Tschaikowski” by the St. Petersburg Symphony Orchestra with Alexander Pirozhenko on piano; Ravel’s “Daphnie et Chloe,” Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 1 and “Scherazade” by Rimsky-Korsakov.

The concert will be at 7:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 24, at the Coronado Performing Arts Center, 314 N. Main St., Rockford.

All seats are $30 for adults and $15 for students. Tickets are available at the Coronado website, www.coronadopac.org, at the Coronado box office, or by phone at (815) 968-0595.

The St.Petersburg Symphony Orchestra will perform with nearly 120 musicians — an orchestra size that rarely graces the stage of the Coronado.
