Honesty/Transparency

Is our State Rep. Jim Sacia (R-89) being transparent when he urges a federal agency to ignore IEPA regulations? (IEPA 401 permit for Traditions Mega-dairy, Jo Daviess County). Is our state representative being transparent when he allows $6 million in new debt without a referendum? (Millrace, Stephenson County.) And now, our state representative proposes a bill that helps keep more secrets. H.B. 5143 would make it a felony to create or even possess a recording of occurrences at a livestock facility. Never mind that such recordings have exposed cases of gross animal abuse (broken bones, rotting eyes, no veterinary treatment, etc.). Apparently, that kind of illumination is counter to our state representative.
