Rockford Lutheran Theatre Department’s production of Annie will be Friday-Sunday, March 9-11. Show times are 7:30 p.m., Friday; 2 and 7:30 p.m., Saturday; and 2 p.m., Sunday.

Directed by Michele M. Bonzi, Annie is the story of orphan Annie and her dog, Sandy, as Annie goes from rags to riches, leaving behind nasty, old Miss Hanigan and arriving in the busy, rich-filled world of Daddy Warbucks.

Favorite songs “It’s A Hard Knock Life” and “Tomorrow” will be featured.

This is a cooperative cast, composed of high schoolers and orphans from the lower school.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, and students 18 and younger and Lutheran High School and Academy and staff are free.

Rockford Lutheran is at 3411 N. Alpine Road, Rockford.
