‘Spring for Science’ at Discovery Center Museum

Rockford’s Discovery Center Museum will offer special art activities, live science demonstrations and more during “Spring for Science,” March 26-April 13. The special attractions will be offered from 1 to 4 p.m., Monday-Friday.
Planetrium shows will be offered at 1 and 3 p.m.; live science demonstrations will be conducted at 2 p.m. in the theater; and art activities will be from 1 to 4 p.m. on the exhibit floor.
The museum also features 200 hands-on exhibits, a news studio, art studio, planetarium and an outdoor wooden park.
The museum is open 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Saturday, and noon-5 p.m., Sunday. Admission is $7 for adults and children ages 2-17, and free to children 1 and younger and museum members.
