Casey’s Pub in search of contestants for pizza-eating contest

LOVES PARK, Ill. — Casey’s Pub, 7307 N. Alpine Road, Loves Park, will hold a pizza-eating contest beginning at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 28.
Whoever can eat a small cheese pizza the fastest wins a $400 flat-screen TV or an all-inclusive trip to Las Vegas, air and hotel included for two nights ($800 package).
All the pizzas are donated by Napoli’s Pizza of Loves Park, and Casey’s is looking for 20 contestants to compete in the event. Cost is $15 to enter, which includes pizza and a $5 gift card to Casey’s.
“This is going to be a great and entertaining event,” said Nick Fosberg, owner of Casey’s Pub in Loves Park. “People want entertainment and something unique. Hosting a pizza-eating competition with extremely valuable prizes is all of the above.”
