One suspect arrested, another sought in March 20 robbery of North Main Associated Bank

One woman has been arrested and another suspect is wanted in connection with a March 20 robbery of the Associated Bank at 612 N. Main St., Rockford.
Latoya S. Burrows, 21, was arrested shortly after the robbery, which occurred at approximately 10:57 a.m., Tuesday, March 20. She has been charged federally with bank robbery and is in federal custody.
A black male suspect is also sought in connection with the case. The man is described as being about 30 years old, about 5-foot-8 and 190 pounds with a stocky build. He was wearing a white T-shirt with blue jeans and had a short mustache and short hair. He was last seen walking north out of the area of the robbery.
Police responded to the bank March 20 after a lone female entered the bank and demanded money from the teller. The female then left the area on foot.
A description of the suspect was given out to officers in the area, and an officer on foot noticed her walking in the 600 block of North Main Street and placed her into custody.
Special agents with the FBI and detectives with the Rockford Police Department conducted a joint investigation and learned the female was with a male before and after the bank robbery.
