OREGON, Ill. — The Oregon Woman’s Club will present its 62nd Annual Antique Show from 9 a.m to 5 p.m., Saturday, March 24, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday, March 25.
The event will be at the Blackhawk Center Sports Arena, on the Oregon public school campus. The arena is on 10th Street at Jefferson Street, one block south of Route 64 (Washington Street). Directional signage will be posted.
Quality antiques will range from the early 1800s through the retro era of the 1950s, including all areas of collecting — furniture, glass, china, pottery, toys, textiles, jewelry, dolls, silver, decorator items and more.
The snack bar, sponsored by the Oregon Kiwanis Club, will offer “homemade” sandwiches, soups, desserts and beverages.
Mary Lou’s Crystal Repair from Joliet, Ill., will be on hand both days to repair damaged heirlooms.
Sunday, Munda & Associates, Auctioneers & Appraisers, Freeport, Ill., will offer verbal appraisals of small treasures for $5 per item. Those interested in obtaining appraisals of larger items should bring a photo of the item. Munda & Associates will also discuss possible written appraisals of items.
Admission to the show is a $5-per-person donation to the Oregon Woman’s Club, a member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs. The event is the Oregon Woman’s Club’s major fund-raiser for the year.
Door prize drawings will be held every hour, and a grand-prize drawing will be held at end of the show.
The facility offers ample parking and handicap accessibility.
