International Food Fair at Rockford College March 31

International students at Rockford College will prepare some of their favorite native dishes for students and visitors during the college’s annual International Food Fair, from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday, March 31, in Regents Hall, second floor, in the Burpee Center, Rockford College, 5050 E. State St., Rockford.

Sponsored by the Rockford College Multicultural Club, the food fair will feature new and authentic recipes from 11 different countries. Also partnering to help organize this year’s event is Rock Valley College’s Multicultural Club.

This year’s theme is “Food Wonders of the World!” and will feature cultural performances of dance and music, including an authentic Mexican mariachi band and live performances from Serbian, Latin and Turkish dancers.

Admission to the event is $10 for advanced general admission; $5 for students and children; or $12 at the door.
