Rockford’s Socks-that-Rock to provide custom sock monkey doll for Rachael Ray

Rockford company Socks-that-Rock has been selected to gift its exclusive custom Rachael Ray Sock Art Doll in an exclusive collaborative gift bag prepared especially for celebrity Rachael Ray.
Socks-that-Rock, a company started by Capron, Ill., resident Joelene Chinn in 2008, has its studio inside Maximum Performance Fitness, 104 S. Madison, St., Rockford.
Chinn began her business as a hobby making dolls for her family and friends, and turned it into a full-time career of making collectible, one-of-a-kind art dolls made from socks.
Chinn works with a number of local businesses in the community on fund-raising events close to her heart. She has met, presented and had Socks-that-Rock dolls signed by famous bands such as Daughtry, Korn and Dot Dot Dot.
Chinn has plans to set up a scholarship to benefit young artists and musicians seeking a career in the arts.
