"Cramming" is a lite-word euphemism for stealing. I imagine that AT&T and Verizon have rather belatedly prohibited the agregeious fraud that they sanctioned, or at least sheltered, due to fear of class action law suits. Is it too late? We are having to live with the fact that so many mega-companies are selling their "souls" in the most astonishingly greedy ways, thereby creating socio-economic chaos which undermines the quality of life for the rest of us - and that does not even include financial pick pocketing.

It was my husband who found that out when he checked on our phone bill. There were charges on there which we didn't understand and when we called our telephone company for that, we were told the charges were made by third party vendors for subscriptions we signed up for, which we never remember nor requested. We disputed the charge right away and got the subscription deal cancelled. It was too late when we found out about but I'm glad we found out and reported the whole scam to www.callercenter.com to raise a warning.
