Man sentenced to 30 years for sexually assaulting three different children over two years

Alex Fowler, 24, pled guilty to predatory criminal sexual assault and two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse and has been sentenced to a total of 30 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections.
The defendant was sentenced to 27 years followed by natural life of mandatory supervised release for the offense of predatory criminal sexual assault and was sentenced to three years for each count for the offense of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
The aggravated criminal sexual assault sentences will be served concurrently to each other; however, they will be served consecutive to the sentence imposed for the predatory criminal sexual assault.
The defendant admitted to sexually abusing three separate individuals over the period of two years. The victims were younger than 13.
Predatory criminal sexual assault is a class X felony with a sentencing range of six to 30 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections. Aggravated criminal sexual abuse is a class 2 felony with a sentencing range of three to seven years in the Illinois Department of Corrections.
