CHICAGO — Paul S. Nicolosi and Gino Galluzzo, former managing partners of Nicolosi & Associates, LLC, have joined as partners in the Chicago and Rockford offices of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP. Joining them are Greg Cox, Kelly Hintzsche and Kelly Huo.

Hinshaw, which made the announcement April 2, has also acquired the strategic and management consulting business unit of Buckley Companies, an affiliate of Nicolosi & Associates. Hinshaw will offer Buckley’s consulting services through a new subsidiary across Hinshaw’s national network of 24 offices.

The Buckley Companies was founded in 1997 and provides a broad base of consulting services including economic and financial analysis of business issues to local governments, institutions, private enterprises and the professional firms that serve them.

Since 1997, Nicolosi has been a co-founding principal at Buckley Companies and a managing partner at its affiliated law firm — Nicolosi & Associates, LLC. Nicolosi earned his juris doctor in 1990 from Northern Illinois University and his bachelor’s degree from Loyola University of Chicago in 1987.

Galluzzo is also a co-founding member of Buckley Companies and Partner at Nicolosi & Associates, LLC. His experience spans all areas of business law, with particular focus in the areas of commercial and real estate transactions and municipal law. He leads strategic consulting engagements in the municipal and private sectors, providing guidance to clients in the areas of public policy, economic analysis, public finance strategy, creative public/private collaborative projects and negotiations. Galluzzo earned his juris doctor in 1997 from John Marshall Law School and his bachelor’s degree from Northern Illinois University in 1993.
