Sent my check and application in the first week of November, it was delivered the same week. check still not cashed, and obviously still no card as of today. i called, they say they haven’t received anything from me, but it was registered mail.

Applied in Sept 2012, check cleared in Oct 2012 and I called to see how things were moving along in Dec… and was told we’re doing a back ground check. I have never been arrested or in trouble with the law. And as of today I’m still waiting.

My husband has had an FOID card for the past 30+ yrs…his expired in January he reapplied beginning of Decemeber and he still hasn’t received a new one!!!!!! He has no criminal history!!!! So hogwash on their backlog excuse!!! Thank goodness I have mine so we stay legal!!!!!

I called 217-782-7980
last time the mail man returned my card to FOID cause no Apartment number

What are we to do?
