Local scholarships for future and graduate teachers deadline April 15

The Winnebago County Retired Teachers Association (WCRTA) Blanche J. Martin Scholarship Fund application deadline is April 15, 2012. WCRTA will be awarding two $3,000 scholarships to future teachers or those planning to pursue a master degree in elementary education at an accredited college or university. An additional grant application for future secondary education teachers in the amount of $500 may be picked up also at the Regional Office of Education, 300 Heart Blvd., Loves Park, IL 61111.
