Man sentenced to six years for delivery of a controlled substance

Urenio Caldera, 30, pled guilty April 10 and was sentenced to six years in the Illinois Department of Corrections by Judge Ronald White for the offense of delivery of a controlled substance 15-100 grams of cocaine.

This offense was a result of a narcotics investigation conducted by the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Department in May 2011.

During the course of the investigation, the police were able to make a controlled purchase of cocaine from Caldera of an ounce of cocaine.

Delivery of a controlled substance 15-100 grams of cocaine is a class X felony punishable by six to 30 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections.
