Park District lagoon bricks for sale through May 1

As construction continues on the Eclipse Lagoon Restoration Project, the Rockford Park District Foundation is busy selling lagoon bricks.
One 7-inch-by-9-inch brick can be purchased for a donation of $150 or more. Each brick has five lines of engraving with a 12-character limit per line. Bricks must be purchased by May 1.
Bricks are available to buy online at www.rockfordparkdistrict.org/give [1], or can be purchased in person at the Rockford Park District Foundation office, 401 S. Main St., Rockford.
By purchasing a special engraved brick, you are helping to pave the way for a new patio area at the Eclipse Lagoon, 1354 N. Second St., Rockford. The new patio area is part of the Eclipse Lagoon Restoration Project that began in October, and will be complete this summer.
Eclipse Lagoon Restoration Project includes the following:
• Lagoon overlook deck with related stone wall;
• Pedestrian bridge;
• Infinity pond;
• Water features;
• Aquatic boardwalk;
• Paving and benches; and
• Landscape plantings.
