		<description>I don&#039;t think this is a fair criticism of my column. The author correctly lists my ideas, but then attacks me for saying and proposing things I didn&#039;t say or propose. I never said we should bulldoze homes in order to build more homes. There are all kinds of things you can do with that land once it is freed up. And with all that excess housing off the marketplace, home prices would increase - it&#039;s simple supply and demand. Also, my point about the blue laws is that businesses should be able to choose whether or not to do business on Sundays, the government should not dictate that for them. There are places in the world where businesses run all day and all night - people come and go as they please and buy what they please. 

The point of all of these suggestions was to free up money, time, and resources for commerce. They are not magic bullets that would solve our problems overnight, but they would help a great deal.</description>
