Junior League’s Spring Bling Online Auction begins April 23

The Junior League of Rockford kicks off its Spring Bling Online Auction starting at 9 a.m., Monday, April 23, at www.biddingforgood.com/jlrockford.

The online auction will run through 9 p.m., Thursday, May 3. The public is invited to browse, bid or contribute a cash donation.

Donated items are still being accepted. Log on to the site and click on the “Donate Now” button. Users can also spread the news about the auction by using the “Refer Friends” button on the website.

The Junior League of Rockford has assembled a catalog of auction items to get people bidding. Items up for bid include sports tickets, golf packages, fitness memberships, museum memberships, gourmet food, jewelry and purses.

Money raised by the auction will benefit the projects and programs of the Junior League of Rockford, including the current project Girls On Their Way Leadership Mentoring Program.

The Junior League of Rockford will host a retreat four times per year for girls ages 9-13 focusing on leadership skills, self-esteem building activities, voluntarism and healthy lifestyles.
