Winnebago man arrested for reckless homicide in Dec. 24, 2011, accident on Bypass 20

Dec. 24, 2011, an accident took place on Bypass 20 that resulted in the deaths of Dea Crose and Cole Trusler.

The accident was investigated by the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Department and reviewed by the Winnebago County State’s Attorney’s Office.

As a result of the investigation, a Winnebago County Illinois Grand Jury returned an indictment against Anthony D. Crose, 34, of Winnebago, Ill.

Crose is charged with reckless homicide and aggravated reckless driving.

May 11, Crose turned himself in on the warrants and was lodged in the Winnebago County Jail.
