Man charged with April 22 armed robbery of 76-year-old woman at Associated Bank ATM

Robert J. Barr has been charged with the April 22 armed robbery of a 76-year-old woman, the Rockford Police Department announced May 15.
The incident occurred Sunday, April 22, at the Associated Bank ATM at 621 N. Main St., Rockford.
Barr was charged with aggravated robbery in relation to the incident. Barr was already being held at the Winnebago County Jail on an unrelated charge and is on parole from the Illinois Department of Corrections.
