[3]Monday, May 14, was a big day for Rockford as almost 6,000 people gathered at the BMO Harris Bank Center downtown for the ordination and installation of Bishop David J. Malloy as the ninth bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Rockford. Leaders of all faiths, civic and national leaders joined to witness the three-hour ceremony.
