Woman sentenced after violating probation for December 2006 burglary conviction

Lea Havens Brown, 29, was sentenced by Judge Joseph McGraw to seven-and-a-half years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for violating Chapter 20 probation provisions from a residential burglary conviction Dec. 5, 2006.
The defendant was found to be in violation of the terms of probation by Judge McGraw after a petition to vacate probation was filed by the State’s Attorney’s Office and a hearing was held Feb. 27, 2012. Residential burglary is a class 1 felony with a sentencing range of four to 15 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections or probation.
