Police in search of suspect in May 26 robbery of Fifth Third Bank

At 1:39 p.m., Saturday, May 26, Rockford police officers responded to the Fifth Third Bank at 3154 McFarland Road, Rockford, in regards to a holdup alarm.
The responding officers learned the alarm was valid and a white male had entered the bank demanding money while implying he had a gun. After obtaining currency, the suspect fled the area in a gray Toyota Corolla.
