If the siser has spoken to the police and informed the Artmans what they can and can not do and what times they “can” do given activities, then that is surely a case of harassment. When the sister tries intimidation by stating “My brother is the Mayor”, that is wrong. Since her brother is the Mayor, it would seem to me that they would go above and beyond to be model citizens to ensure the Mayor is seen in a positive light. Ms Leverington, didnt u know bullying is horrible and harmful? Oh, wait, I know..your brother is the Mayor and any bullying you do is okay, because your brother is the mayor!

This is Police harassment plain and simple, and it sounds as if the mayor and sis are clearly manipulating or using the Police, if not conspiring with them, to harass a potential political opponent in a “free” democratic society, and even bringing in obviously innocent children into the illegal and unconstitutional abuse. A federal lawsuit is clearly in order and needed in the days of “Homeland Insecurity” and historical civil rights discrimination. The Founding Fathers exhorted us to utilize the Constitution to defend our rights and the rights of the citizenry, for the expressed purpose of perserving the Union of Free States.
Mr. Mayor – Deal With It, you deserve since you earned, just like the wages of your attorneys needed to defend you for your unconstitutional crimes and manipulative Police Harassment. I hope you lose big time and have to pay the wages for the Plaintiff’s attorneys.

Marah, calling the Police when or as she feels a need can be called harassment. The needs should be concerning laws or ordinances. Are these?

“mayor’s sister called the police to her neighbor’s house to advise them to take down a political sign that promoted the mayor’s opponent”
“the police told the Artmans to shut off their lights after a certain time.”
“the police told them their son could not ride his bicycle up or down his own driveway”
“that their son could not play basketball on his own driveway.”
“the police told them they could not talk outside at 2 p.m.”

If these allegations are true, that definitely sounds like harassment to me.

This is clearly an issue of an involved community member(Leverington) utilizing her right as a citizen of the United States to call the Police when or as she feels a need, that is hardly harassment. The Mayor works night and day to keep people in Freeport by trying to bring in business and work opportunities for the citizens of the town. It seems as though all parities involved were doing their job! Leverington was keeping the neighborhood safe, the Police responded, and what was said about the Mayor is hear-say, he was involved in his town, doing his job too.
