Man charged with reckless homicide in Oct. 2, 2011, accident that left husband and wife dead

The driver of the vehicle in the Oct. 2, 2011, accident that killed husband and wife Ronald Young, 73, and Darlene Young, 72, has been charged with reckless homicide.
Brett G. Alexander, 21, was arrested June 8 on three counts of reckless homicide, three counts of aggravated reckless driving resulting in death/injury and two counts of aggravated driving under the influence of drugs resulting in death/injury.
Alexander is lodged in the Winnebago County Jail.
The fatal accident occurred in the 6900 block of South Main Street.
