I have spent alot of time on the Kish since moving into Belvidere seven years ago. While out fishing above the Belvidere dam I have pulled many cans out of the river, and few are beer cans. That is not the issue here. In my opinion, the county board acted with little, or no input from the people they represent. In a representative republic the majority rules. I hope this applies on the tax-payer owned Kishwaukee river. I am going to have to side with Steve Larsen on this one.
