Muslim Community Center invites public to June 24 talk

The Muslim Community Center of Greater Rockford is inviting the public to a talk by Shaikh Yusuf Estes titled “What is Your Purpose in Life?” The talk will begin at 6 p.m., Sunday, June 24, at the Muslim Community Center of Greater Rockford’s gym, 5921 Darlene Drive.

Shaikh Estes is well known for his efforts in promoting understanding of Islam. The lecture will address questions such as: “Are you distracted with worldly pursuits?” “Do you ponder your purpose in life?” “Is the answer the same for Christians and Muslims?”

Refreshments will be provided and donations will be accepted at the door.
