Beloit, Wis., man dies following motorcycle accident on Perryville Road

Christopher Fanizzo, 23, of Beloit, Wis., was killed Sunday, July 1, when he lost control of his motorcycle while driving southbound on Perryville Road.

The accident occurred at the intersection of Perryville and Anjali Way. Fanizzo was located in a ditch west of the roadway and was pronounced dead on the scene at 11:25 p.m., Sunday, July 1.

Winnebago County Coroner Sue Fiduccia said an autopsy would be performed July 2. A release from her office also said there is no indication of alcohol in this crash and Fanizzo was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

Illinois State Police are investigating the crash.
