‘See a Juggler, Be a Juggler’ at Discovery Center July 6

Watch professional juggler Jason Kollum and learn juggling skills from this master performer during Discovery Center’s “See a Juggler, Be a Juggler” event Friday, July 6.

Keep your balance between performances with hands-on Discovery Center fun. This event is part of Discovery Center’s Family Friday series.

These juggling shows and special workshops are designed for children. Preregistration for shows and workshops is recommended. Shows are 40 minutes in length; show times are 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Workshops are 30 minutes in length and geared for ages 3 and older. All are welcome; workshop space is limited. Workshop times are 12:40 p.m.; 1:30 p.m.; and 3:30 p.m. Call (815) 963-6769 to register.

Discovery Center Museum is inside Riverfront Museum Park, 711 N. Main St., Rockford. The museum — ranked the No. 4 children’s museum in the nation by Child magazine — features more than 200 hands-on exhibits, planetarium, special area for children 6 and younger and an award-winning outdoor science park. Museum hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m., daily. Admission is $7 adults and children 2-17, and free to museum members and children age 1 and younger.
