Your Horoscope: Week of July 11-17, 2012
By Denise Guzzardo
Week of July 11-17, 2012
This Week: Mercury retrograde arrives July 14 and continues on through Aug. 8. You know the drill. Batten down all of your forms of communication and travel, check and double check messages, back up your computer and go easy on household appliances. The new moon in Cancer should soften the blow of recent astrological storms we’ve been through. Utilize that day to get personal relationships or finances back on track. Friday, July 13, I will be at my favorite haunted hang again — the Hope and Anchor, 5040 N. Second St., Loves Park, Ill. Hope to see you there!
Aries (March 21 to April 19) — You may be just off the radar of someone you have been worried about for quite some time. This week provides a culmination of events to connect and work these aspects out with another. You will have a clear understanding as to why this situation has gone off course. Once you’re able to clarify your thoughts and feelings, all will work itself out by week’s end.
Taurus (April 20 to May 20) — You may be called upon to get involved in humanitarian activities this week. We all know how hard it is to keep up with pressing schedules and overbooked obligations. However, take a moment to join a worthy cause. This will fill the emotional gap you have been feeling as of late. This will also put you in a position to form new bonds with those of like mind. Go for it.
Gemini (May 21 to June 20) — Your lackluster energy is noticeable to those within your circle. It’s possible you may need a check up from the neck up to clarify what is really eating you at this point. The focus may be off the tracks while a deeper issue is the culprit. Although we may all consider the fact that the past should remain in the past, sometimes we need to revisit it to understand the present.
Cancer (June 21 to July 22) — You may feel as though unwanted anxiety has arrived for no apparent reason and is taking over your life. Take a step backward and attempt to figure out exactly when and why this arrived when it did. You will find that about a month ago, significant exchanges of energy with a member from your past planted the seeds for this aspect to erupt. As a result of this, you appear off balance. By week’s end, you will find the tools to rid yourself of this pressure. You will be all the wiser for it.
Leo (July 23 to Aug. 22) — Try not to throw the baby out with the bathwater this week. Although we may need a stronger foundation with another than appears to be available at the present, tossing them to the side like an old toy will not help the current situation heal. We can only expect so much out of another human being. The peace, security and love we crave needs to come from within first.
Virgo (Aug. 23 to Sept. 22) — A new love interest has you taking a look through your wardrobe and calling your stylist for an upgrade. Making some shifts in your outward appearance will lighten your emotional load and create a positive spring in your step. All eyes are on you at this time. Present yourself in the best possible light, and remember, “you’re never fully dressed without a smile.”
Libra (Sept. 23 to Oct. 22) — A long, drawn-out legal document or court proceeding is finally coming to a close. You will know where you stand, and as a result, you will be able to move forward into a new path in life. You may find the humanitarian approach fits you the best. Involving yourself with those of like mind and hearts will bring out the best in you.
Scorpio (Oct. 23 to Nov. 21) — Nothing is wrong with standing up for yourself and your emotions this week. Stay very conscious of keeping the facts straight. Do not allow another to throw you off course with his or her insecurities or tantrums. This will not accomplish anything but more heartache. Once you lay the law down, you should expect to see results. No matter how the chips fall, you are in a stronger position than you can see at this time.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22 to Dec. 21) — You may be very tempted to stick your nose in where it does not belong. Worse yet, an urge may arise to practice your flight mode mentality on another who has created a problem within your home or friendship sectors. Keep your feet planted firmly on the ground, and focus on your business instead. This is a great week to bring in the “big bucks” as well as allow yourself plenty of time to enjoy pets and hobbies. After the 19th, your long-term financial goals are on the rise.
Capricorn (Dec. 22 to Jan. 19) — Financial matters are on the forefront, and you are coming into a time where money will not be an issue for you shortly. Look around and pay very close attention to signs that are pointing you in the right direction to receive prosperity. A dark-haired male may have an offer for you that you just can’t resist. Go for it.
Aquarius (Jan. 20 to Feb. 18) — Stay out of petty office gossip early on this week. This appears to escalate by week’s end, creating all kinds of havoc within the workplace. If you play the see-no-evil, speak-no-evil, hear-no-evil mentality, you will find yourself on top of the world when all is said and done. Someone will be reprimanded for all of this nonsense. So, with that said, make sure it is not you.
Pisces (Feb. 19 to March 20) — Pay close attention to your surroundings this week. An unbalanced individual may be within your midst. If you are conscious, you can ward off any danger or emotional stress. You may need to set a boundary with this type of element. You have back up if you need it, and strength in reserve. By week’s end, you feel a little more at peace.
