Man charged with July 7 robbery of Villa di Roma pizza delivery driver

Larry D. Sturdivant, 21, of Rockford, has been charged with the July 7 robbery of a Villa di Roma pizza delivery driver.

Shortly after 10 p.m., Saturday, July 7, Rockford police officers responded to the 3800 block of 15th Avenue in reference to an armed robbery to a pizza delivery driver. The victim advised he was approached by the suspect, who demanded his money. The victim advised the suspect was armed with a handgun. The suspect fled from the incident on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
