Your Horoscope: Week of July 18-24, 2012
By Denise Guzzardo
Week of July 18-24, 2012
This Week: Full-blown into Mercury Retrograde now. Pay close attention to travel and communication. As long as you are cautious, you can avoid unexpected delays and frustrations. This will come to a close Aug. 8. However, the dark moon in Cancer July 19 can shed some light on unexpected financial difficulties or bring hope to a difficult relationship struggle. So, not all is lost. Make note of these dates to use toward your own best good.
Aries (March 21 to April 19) — People from the past may be crawling out from under rocks to make a connection with you. It may feel as though you are in a time warp, so to speak, and curious as to why this is so evident now. Many benefits exist to revisiting some of these old war stories. In fact, you may have a fresh perspective as to why your life path has evolved to the magnitude it has. When all is said and done, you can count your blessings.
Taurus (April 20 to May 20) — You are in a very powerful position to protect someone smaller or weaker than you. This creates such a strong imprint that you may be feeling a little light-headed over it all. Take the time to try to figure out the lesson in this spiritual journey. You may also be called upon to straighten out a conflict among others. Choose your words carefully as you navigate through this situation. Legal matters fall into place for you. You have the upper hand.
Gemini (May 21 to June 20) — A positive rhythm beginning to develop this week creates balance between work and your personal life. Single Geminis can finally come out of the closet with the love interest they’ve had their eye on. Just remember, good news travels fast, and it may be bad news to others. Try to keep everyone’s feelings in proper perspective before you carelessly stomp on those from your past. If this isn’t ringing a bell, you may be one who is affected by this in terms of loved ones within your social circle. Try not to perpetuate gossip.
Cancer (June 21 to July 22) — Confusion may rain on the first part of this week, especially with your personal life and where it stands at this time. This is only a temporary vibration, so try not to blow this out of the water, making mountains out of molehills. If you can just keep your wits about you, the “ruffled feathers” of others will magically smooth back into place. Romance brings a positive element back into your life by week’s end.
Leo (July 23 to Aug. 22) — Your health may be playing little tricks on you this week. Try to keep your emotions in check. Stress creates disease. Take it easy on your personal demands, and get the rest you require. Next week, your energy shifts again into high gear. You can catch up with those nagging responsibilities at that time.
Virgo (Aug. 23 to Sept. 22) — Enjoy gatherings with those of like mind. You can acquire an abundance of knowledge through those in a position of authority. Health issues may become a concern midweek. Take care of yourself first before worrying about the dust bunnies around your humble abode. By week’s end, you will have everything back to normal.
Libra (Sept. 23 to Oct. 22) — Romance takes precedence over anything else this week. Aligning your priorities with your emotional self will bring the balance that you have been looking for previously. So much emphasis has been on work or higher education that you have not had time to meet the needs of those who matter most to you. Life is short — make the most of it!
Scorpio (Oct. 23 to Nov. 21) — Nobody loves a vacation more than a Scorpio or a Sagittarius, so you will find this week to be exceptionally amusing for you. Fun with friends and family members sets you in a lighthearted mood that no one can deny. Anticipation for future romantic commitments are also on your mind. Your career sector provides an unexpected upgrade in the months to come. Keep your eyes and ears open for advancement.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22 to Dec. 21) — You’re feeling a bit overworked, but after this week’s flurry of activity, things will settle down into a consistent pace that you can deal with more effectively. Finances are improving now, but August brings a positive permanent change in your cash flow that you can count on as a result of a legal matter. A little time off brings out the kid in all of my fellow Sagittarius friends. Make it happen.
Capricorn (Dec. 22 to Jan. 19) — A concern with the health or welfare of a loved one may be consuming all of your thoughts. Trust that the universe will work with this individual and your prayers will be answered. Romance may need a bit of coaxing before it can get back on track this week. Ignoring the needs of your significant other or a family member will not help the situation; in fact, it will only make it worse. Step away from your worries. A quiet dinner out will put your love life back on track.
Aquarius (Jan. 20 to Feb. 18) — You are in a fabulous position to launch a self-employed or self-contracted career element. Take a leap of faith, and begin to make room for this opportunity. Even though this will not happen overnight, this will be a long-term shift that will provide success. Spiritually, emotionally and physically, you will be on top of your game.
Pisces (Feb. 19 to March 20) — An organization or large group can benefit from your expertise. Follow up on the contacts you have made, and give it all you’ve got. You’re at a turning point where if you can see your success in your mind’s eye, you can make it happen in the real world. Go for it!
