RiverHawks welcome Hooters model July 21, unveil new concession items

LOVES PARK, Ill. — Model and Rockford Hooters employee Tyler Suess will be on hand Saturday, July 21, as the RiverHawks take on Traverse City at 6:05 p.m. at RiverHawks Stadium.
Suess, a Freeport native, recently won $10,000 as first runner-up in the Hooters International Swimsuit Pageant. She was one of 100 contestants from around the world. Hooters Girl contestants were selected from more than 18,000 Hooters Girls who work in 430 Hooters restaurants worldwide.
She has also been successful in her career outside of Hooters, including being a semifinalist in the Miss Illinois USA pageant in 2011 and 2012, and promotional modeling for Maxim, EA Sports, Thor and Spartan Energy.
Suess will be throwing out a ceremonial first pitch and hanging around for some autographs at the beginning of the game.
New cocession items added for second half of season
The RiverHawks have added some great new food items at the concession stand at RiverHawks Stadium for the rest of the season.
The first and third base concession stands have added Irish nachos, mounds of waffle fries topped with BBQ pulled pork, warm cheese sauce and a dollop of sour cream.
At the Lowe’s Grill, the RiverHawks have added a meatball sandwich with meatballs simmered in marinara sauce with mozzarella cheese served on a French roll.
Also new at the Lowe’s Grill is the Rocko Cheese Steak with slices of tender beef, melted mozzarella cheese and grilled onions on a French roll.
The ice cream stand has added an A&W Rootbeer Float to go along with the variety of hard-dipped ice cream it already offered.
The RiverHawks are members of the Frontier League, an independent professional baseball league in its 20th season. Games are broadcast on NTA-FM (100.5).
