‘LEGO Lovers’ at Discovery Center Aug. 3

Construct, paint and create with LEGOs and more Friday, Aug. 3, at Discovery Center for “LEGO Lovers.”
The event is part of Discovery Center’s Family Friday series and will be from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Build it tall and build it strong! Tackle construction projects using a variety of materials including your favorite bricks. Monkey with LEGO machines and dabble in LEGO robotics. Paint and create structures and vote for your favorites. Local enthusiasts will have creations on display.
Discovery Center Museum is inside Riverfront Museum Park at 711 N. Main St., Rockford. Admission is $7 adults, $7 children 2-17 and free for members and children ages 1 and younger. Hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m., daily. Call (815) 963-6769 or visit www.discoverycentermuseum.org [1] for more details.
