CoCo Key Indoor Water Park collects school supplies in August

Rockford’s CoCo Key Indoor Water Park and Rockford Public School District 205 will offer “CoCo’s School Supplies Drive” every Wednesday in August at the waterpark.
All donations collected will be given to the school district to be distributed to needy kids in the area through their “Back 2 School Supplies for Schools” program. Guests who donate will receive discounted admission for the day to CoCo Key.
Clock Tower General Manager Robert West said: “We are very pleased to be able to partner with the Rockford School District for this special event. A quality education is vital for a child, and we are thankful for this opportunity to give back to the community with this worthy and important cause.”
To participate in “CoCo’s School Supplies Drive,” guests need to bring new, unopened supplies to CoCo Key at the Clock Tower Resort. Items accepted for donation include boxes of pencils, erasers, glue, scissors, crayons, rulers, notebook paper, folders, hand sanitizer, uniforms and more. For each item donated, guests will receive $2 off one admission with a limit of $6 off per admission. The discount cannot be combined with any other offer and is valid only at the time of donation; no vouchers or coupons will be distributed.
