Body found at Ingersoll Memorial Park

Rockford Park District police are investigating the discovery of the body of a male believed to be between the ages of 55 and 60 in Ingersoll Memorial Park, 101 Daisyfield Road, Rockford. The City of Rockford Police Department will assist Park District Police officers with the investigation.

An employee located the body, and at this point there are no indications of foul play,” said Rockford Park District Chief of Police Theo Glover. “An autopsy will be conducted tomorrow by the Winnebago County Coroner’s Office.”
