Warrant issued for suspect in July 1 home invasion/armed robbery

An arrest warrant has been issued for Jadale Lamon, 21, of Rockford, in relation to the July 1 home invasion and armed robbery of 324 S. Henrietta Avenue.
Lamon faces charges of home invasion, armed robbery, unlawful use of a weapon by a felon and aggravated unlawful restraint. He is currently on parole through the Illinois Department of Corrections for robbery.
Anyone with information about Lamon’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Rockford police shift commander at (815) 987-5824 or Crime Stoppers at (815) 963-7867.
Rockford police responded to 324 S. Henrietta Ave. shortly after 10 p.m., July 1, in reference to a home invasion/armed robbery incident. The victim advised he was approached by three male suspects, two of whom were armed with firearms.
The suspects demanded money, then took the victim inside his residence. The suspects left with an undisclosed amount of United States currency and another victim’s vehicle.
