Matthew’s Miracle Network is organizing its second annual fund-raising dinner and auction to promote and support childhood cancer research. The event will be at NorthPointe in Roscoe, Ill., Aug. 11.
The organization plans to host more than 125 people and auction off more than 100 items that were donated by community businesses and organizations. This year’s event is open to the public with a cost of $50 per person, and seating is limited.
Matthew’s Miracle Network was established to secure resources to support childhood cancer research and enhance the lives of children who endure the battle with cancer. Jarod and Heather Triplett founded the charity, with the support of family and friends, after their son Matthew won his battle with neuroblastoma at the age of 15 months. NorthPointe and the American Family Children’s Hospital played critical roles in Matthew’s success story.
Reservations and/or donations can be mailed to Matthew’s Miracle Network at 4137 Yale Drive, Rockton, IL 61072.
Matthew’s Miracle Network has contributed year-to-date proceeds totaling more than $15,000 to the Beat Childhood Cancer Research Fund.
