Man found guilty of possession with intent to deliver cocaine

Shaun J. Johnson, 30, was found guilty of the offense of possession with intent to deliver cocaine within 1,000 feet of a church by the Judge Ronald White Aug. 7.
The crime occurred in the 500 block of North Court Street in Rockford. Members of the Metro Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant and located cocaine within a residence across the street from a church. Police were able, through their investigation, to identify Johnson as the offender. Sentence is pending.
Possession with intent to deliver 1 to 15 grams of cocaine within 1,000 feet of a church is a class X felony with a penalty range of six to 30 years in prison.
