Your Horoscope: Week of Aug. 15-21, 2012
By Denise Guzzardo
Week of Aug. 15-21, 2012
This Week: The new moon in Leo Aug. 17 allows the energy you require to get things done. Although this past month has seemed to invoke all kinds of setbacks and stagnation thus far, this new moon provides a much-welcomed breakthrough to support our accomplishments. Take advantage of this activity — you won’t be disappointed.
Aries (March 21 to April 19) — Large groups and settings bring a tremendous amount of activity this week. There seems to be a sigh of relief Friday when you can finally spend the evening at home with a friend or loved one. You’re targeting a major new market late summer that allows new career opportunities to evolve. Take care of your physical health so you are prepared for the work load to come.
Taurus (April 20 to May 20) — You’re just glad to have things back on track this week, provided there is anything such as a normal routine in your life. You may have had a female throw an unexpected glitch into your plans earlier this week. Try to get past this and realize you won’t have to deal with that issue forever. Don’t hang on to it; when another is taking up free rent in your head, they are also stealing your valuable energy.
Gemini (May 21 to June 20) — It’s time to get your housing in order before another week goes by. You need to allow plenty of time for scheduling. Last-minute deals could arrive, saving you some extra cash. Romance appears to be a delicate element at this time. If you let another know you stand behind your decisions, you will create a foundation of stone for future friendships and relationships to come.
Cancer (June 21 to July 22) — It’s time to make some decisions regarding your love life. You have been on the fence long enough, and you will need to make your heartfelt feelings known to the object of your affection. It is as though you have been in a triangle of some sort for the past few months. Whether it has been dividing time and energy with family and love, or deciding between two people, you’re risking it all with any lack of initiative on your part. Step up and do the “work” — you won’t regret it.
Leo (July 23 to Aug. 22) — Positive news regarding employment aspects arrives at this time. Put your best foot forward; all eyes are on you. Leave the past behind — you don’t want it to hinder your opportunity for current success. A family matter may have everyone a little bit on edge. There is only so much of this you can take. We learn as time goes on that we have no control over the actions of others, only our own.
Virgo (Aug. 23 to Sept. 22) — A family connection revealed some interesting information recently. As a result, you may find you have learned something about yourself as well. As you move forward, try to allow this knowledge to improve the quality of your life. Getting together with friends and family over the weekend will help you feel in sync again.
Libra (Sept. 23 to Oct. 22) — Your recent actions to get the scoop on someone from your past were quite transparent to the person you were focused on. It didn’t settle too well with them, either, I might add. Honesty is the best policy. If you really feel the need to know the status of an individual you have not seen or spoken to in years, just tell them so. Bobbing and weaving around it isn’t going to get you the results you feel you deserve. Getting caught up in gossip is counterproductive. You have better things to do with your time and energy than that.
Scorpio (Oct. 23 to Nov. 21) — Save some money for a rainy day, but at the same time, splurge a little for yourself as well. You may need to take a weekend away from it all. Once you come back, you feel refreshed and revitalized, ready to take on your next venture with ease. Children and pets require your undivided attention. You won’t regret the energy expended.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22 to Dec. 21) — Someone who may feel jealous or insecure about your accomplishments may try to back you into a corner this week. Do not take the bait. You’re overworked and spread a bit thin, and as a result of this, you may have difficulty maintaining your composure. You can see the intentions of this individual; however, others may not be able to at this time. Keep quiet and allow this person to step on their own neck. Then, strategically place yourself back in the limelight, where you belong.
Capricorn (Dec. 22 to Jan. 19) — The past has resurfaced for a reason. How about taking the steps to understand why this is important to you now? Investigate how much another may have grown and what possible knowledge they may have to offer you. If you challenge this person, you may end up looking like a fool. Be cautious of what you “bring voice to” at this time.
Aquarius (Jan. 20 to Feb. 18) — Pay very close attention to turbulence in your home or work environment this week. You may need to step in and help another defend themselves. It appears you have noticed a revolution in the making and have chosen to look the other way. Now is the time to put a stop to this underhanded, mean-spirited behavior. Don’t be afraid of the repercussions … you have unexpected backing.
Pisces (Feb. 19 to March 20) — An opportunity to improve your cash flow arrives this week. Take advantage of this element, and remember to pay it forward with others. If you do not equally distribute your good fortune, it will be a long time before you will see this type of energy flow your way again. The home environment may be a bit turbulent early on this week … don’t add fuel to the fire.
