Reservations due Aug. 31 for Klehm’s ‘Twilight in the Garden’ fund-raiser

Rockford’s Klehm Arboretum & Botanic Garden, 2715 S. Main St., Rockford, will host “Twilight in the Garden” Saturday, Sept. 8. Doors open at 6 p.m., with dinner at 7 p.m.
Cost is $75 per person or $600 for a table of eight.
Reservation forms are available at klehm.org [1] or by calling (815) 965-8146. Reservations are due Aug. 31.
Klehm will transform its Fountain Garden into the Ponderosa Ranch for its annual garden fund-raiser. Theme of the event is “Best of the West,” so attendees are encouraged to wear jeans, cowboy boots and 10-gallon hats.
Featured will be a western barbecue dinner and drinks at a fully-stocked saloon.
Klehm is partnering with Milestone, a provider of support services for adults and children with disabilities. A complete landscape plan will be designed and planted at no cost to the agency.
“Shares” of the Milestone, Inc., project will be auctioned during the party, along with other premium plant selections for guests and plant lovers to take home. Plus, anyone can give support by entering the Twilight in the Garden Raffle (need not be present to win). Raffle tickets are $5 each or five for $20.
