SPAY Illinois is hosting a low-cost pet vaccine clinic Friday, Sept. 14 at All Paws Beauty Salon, 130 N. First St., Rockford. The clinic will run from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. and is by appointment only. Cash or credit is accepted; no personal checks, please.
The clinic will offer 1-year rabies vaccines for $18 (plus cost of county tag), 3-year rabies vaccines for $35 (plus cost of county tag), 5 in 1 distemper combo for $15, 6 in 1 distemper combo $20, Bordetella $15, Lyme vaccine $20, Lepto vaccine $15, heartworm testing $20, micro-chip $25 includes registration, FVRCP (4 in 1 distemper combo for cats) $15,. Felv vaccine $20, Felv/Fiv testing $25, fecal testing $15, and there is low-cost heartworm and flea prevention. SPAY Illinois also offers dog packs, everything your dog needs for a year for $65 or cat packages for $45. There is never an exam fee when receiving vaccines. The clinic is open to everyone; no residency or income restrictions apply.
Individuals receiving food stamps or SSDI can receive discounted vaccines if your pets are spayed or neutered. If you need to get your pet spayed or neutered and receive food stamps or SSDI, the cost is $15.
