Three arrested on drug charges after search of Island Avenue residence

Members of the Rockford Police Department’s Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant at 835 Island Ave. Detectives located three adult males, three adult females and an infant inside.
After a thorough search was completed, detectives located and recovered more than 400 gross grams of cannabis, more than 71 gross grams of heroin, more than 286 gross grams of suspected crack cocaine, three loaded handguns and United States currency.
Other items associated with drug packaging and drug dealing were located. The three adult males were identified as Elston Henry Jr., Brandon Evans and Arsenio Purifoy. They were all arrested and later lodged in the Winnebago County Jail. It should be noted all three males are convicted felons and Evans and Purifoy are currently on parole. The females were released and not charged.
Henry, 25, of Rockford, faces charges of possession with intent to deliver 15-100 grams of cocaine, possession with intent to deliver 15-100 grams of heroin, armed violence, and possession with intent to deliver 30-500 grams of cannabis. No bond has been set.
Purifoy, 22, of Rockford, faces charges of possession with intent to deliver 15-100 grams of heroin, possession with intent to deliver 15-100 grams of cocaine, possession with intent to deliver 30-500 grams of cannabis and armed violence. No bond has been set.
Evans, 24, of Rockford, faces charges of possession with intent to deliver 15-100 grams of heroin, possession with intent to deliver 15-100 grams of cocaine and possession with intent to deliver 30-500 grams of cannabis.
