Park District offers After School Ice Skate weekly sessions

Rockford Park District is offering a new opportunity for youth to enjoy some fun recreation during after-school hours this year while learning basic ice skating skills and gaining confidence on the ice at After School Ice Skate weekly sessions for boys and girls in grades pre-kindergarten through 12.
The Park District’s Learn to Skate staff will provide 15 minutes of instruction at each session. Sessions are scheduled Thursdays from 3:30 to 4:50 p.m. at Riverview Ice House, 324 N. Madison St., Rockford, Sept. 6, 2012-May 30, 2013 (no sessions Nov. 22 or Dec. 27, 2012, or Jan. 3, 2013).
Fee for students and adult/chaperones is $3 per person including skate rental; family and friends are also welcome.
