Rock Valley Ski Association holds Membership Party Sept. 11

Rock Valley Ski Association will hold its annual Membership Party at Thunder Bay Grille, 7652 Potawatamai Trail, Rockford, Tuesday, Sept. 11.

The party will celebrate the beginning of the club’s 42nd year. The purpose of the non-profit travel adventure club is to develop and sustain an interest in the sport of skiing and snowboarding. Membership in the club is open to anyone 21 or older.

Appetizers, doors prizes and meeting old and new friends is on the agenda. Information about upcoming ski trips will also be available.

New members will qualify for the group discount for the club’s New Year’s Eve weekend trip to Winter Park, Colo. The trip is a direct flight from Chicago Rockford International Airport to Denver.
