Rockford City Market switches to fall hours, offers new vendors Sept. 7

Rockford City Market (along Water Street between State and Jefferson streets) has started its fall hours and will open at 3 p.m. and close at 7 p.m. for the duration of the season, through Oct. 12.

New vendors continue to join the market. This week, Nattha’s Kitchen will provide authentic Thai cuisine.

If you’re heading to Rockford City Market this Friday, Sept. 7, here’s what you can expect:

Music

After 5 Jazz Trio — The After 5 Jazz Trio will be returning to the market again this week to entertain the crowd for the third season in a row.

Activities

Macaroni Kids — Local Macaroni Kids newsletter publisher Taylor Westfall will have crafts for kids.

Rockford City Market takes place every Friday from June 1 through Oct. 12 in downtown Rockford. The market includes local growers and vendors who sell natural products including vegetables, fruit, eggs, meat, cheeses, flowers, herbs, baked goods, wine and healthy snacks, as well as artisans and vendors with unique offerings and live entertainment by a variety of performers.
