Cherry Valley lifts sprinkling restrictions
Online Staff Report
CHERRY VALLEY, Ill. — The Village of Cherry Valley announced Sept. 11 the lifting of sprinkling restrictions imposed July 6.
The increase in rainfall, along with cooler temperatures, has reduced the demand for water.
“The Village of Cherry Valley would like to thank its water customers for their cooperation in complying with the sprinkling restrictions,” a press release from the village stated. “The village will strive to increase our ability to supply unrestricted water under such extreme conditions. Fresh water is a valuable and limited natural resource. All water users should use water wisely every day of the year, for the good of the environment and to help maintain the quality of our lives.”
